Pudong Grade 1: Be a Cat in the Palace

On April 24th, grade one students at SHSID Pudong had a special Chinese lesson in the morning. Students took on the roles of royal cats in the Forbidden Palace to challenge themselves to reach different achievements. These challenges included Sing Out the Chinese Poem, Poem Quiz Show, Picture-poem Match, and so on. If students could successfully complete all the challenges and receive all the stamps, they would get a box of bookmarks in return. This fun exercise not only taught students about traditional Chinese poems but also stimulated their learning initiative toward Chinese culture, further preparing them to be qualified global citizens.
