Grades 5-6: Charity Fair
On the last day before the Qingming Festival, grade 5 and 6 students finally held their charity fair after looking forward to it for many weeks.
The previous day, crowds gathered to watch the exciting performances put on by the students of the two grades during the charity concert. Everyone appreciated the concert, and lots of money was donated through the votes of students in the audience.
Today, the teachers had their own charity concert. Their performances showcased dances, music, and other talents. Many students also participated in the charity long run, which took them around the campus on a 400m run, giving them a look at beautiful scenery around the campus they rarely encounter.
Finally, the charity fair was held. Students sold many different things, ranging from stationary and food to toys and many other items. Students swarmed around the fair like bees, buying things that caught their eye. Everyone had a lot of fun! Near the end of the charity fair, almost everything was sold. A lot of money was raised by the students and teachers at the charity fair, the charity concert, and the charity long run. All the money raised will be donated to help children in need.
