Grade 8: Shanghai Darts Competition

On March 23rd, the Shanghai Darts Competition was held at SES, where SHSID's teams participated in the middle school category. There were four contestants each on two teams, and five of them never had any competition experience prior to this. Although the unfamiliar environment and competitive contestants put extreme pressure on SHSID’s teams, they finally broke through their fear and showed everyone how powerful they were after getting encouragement from the coach and finding support among each other. After an entire morning and noon of intense competition, SHSID’s Team 1 stepped into the Top 16 and Team 2 successfully made their way to the finals, where they received the silver medal in the middle school category.

Although the majority of the players from SHSID hadn’t had any prior experience, they didn’t back down; they tried their very best with no regret. A huge congratulations to SHSID’s Dart teams for achieving such high standings this time, and best of luck in their future games!
