High School Biology Department: Biology Lecture-Bacteria

On March 22nd, 2019, a biology mini-lecture themed “Bacteria: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” was held in room 205 of the Xianmian building. In the lecture, Dr. Nicky High, a biology professor at the University of Manchester, explained the effects of bacteria on humans using vivid explanations and examples. The main content of the lecture included the benefits and harms of bacteria on human health, the roles of antibiotics in curing bacterial diseases, and the devastating consequences of antibiotic resistance. Teachers and students from different grades attended this lecture.
