Pudong Grade 1: Dr. Seuss Week

Every year in March, students, together with their teachers, spend a week celebrating the intelligent and interesting Dr. Seuss. This year, Dr. Seuss Week took place from March 18th to March 22nd, and the grade one students at the SHSID Pudong campus were well-prepared for this grand event. From Monday to Friday, the students dressed up to meet certain requirements, including Crazy Hat Day, Favorite Character Day, Pajama Day, Funky Sock Day, and the Word Parade to conclude the week on Friday. It was a fun surprise to see the students in their cute outfits each day at school. Students were not only excited to come to school but were also more engaged in reading throughout the week. One of the students exclaimed on Monday, “I like Dr. Seuss Week!”
