Pudong Grade 1: Animal Protection with a Special Guest

On March 18th, 2019, grade one students at SHSID Pudong Campus had a special guest deliver a lecture about endangered animals as well as plants around the world. One of our student’s parents volunteered to introduce the topic to raise student awareness of the urgency of environmental protection. During that lecture, our presenter first introduced the plants and animals that need protective action. Later, the students learnt about how human behavior may affect those creatures. At the end of the lecture, our guest speakers even brought some real samples for authentic observation. The students were all shocked and worried about the environment around us and decided to do something to make the earth a better place at the end of this activity. Thanks to parent cooperation, our students were provided a better learning opportunity and were more motivated to learn.
