Pudong Grade 1: Math Is Everywhere

In Week 4, grade one students at SHSID Pudong campus celebrated their first math week with a series of events related to Pi Day. On Monday, grade one students challenged themselves to write as many “Pi Words” as possible. On Tuesday, they became scavenger hunters for items related to Pi. On Wednesday, students used their math classes to have fun in coloring the pi-line skyline where every column was colored according to the Pi value. On Thursday, students not only had their entire math lesson full of games but also attended the Math Carnival at the end of the day, where students went into different classrooms to explore various math activities. On Friday, students colored decorated their wall with carefully colored Pi. What an exciting week!
