Grade 11: Assembly about HCAUSCR
On the morning of March 21st, James from 11 (1A) and Sharon from 11 (5) introduced the Harvard HCAUSCR Sino-US Student Leadership Summit. First, they listed three figures to summarize several characteristics of the summit, namely 9 days, 3 courses, and 12 branches. After that, they added information about three locations of the summit: Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Beijing. In addition, they discussed other special events of the summit, such as the master class, first chance dance, capstone project, the talent show, etc., and showed some photos of the activities at different summits. Among them, James gave an example of the master class that had taken place at the summit in Shanghai. He claimed that it was his honor to hear the general director of the National Treasures program speak on the preparations for the show, filming, etc., and got a book of the National Treasure, which was autographed by the director. Finally, Sharon ended with a famous quote from the summit, “Once an HSYLCer, always an HSYLCer”, and encouraged interested students to participate.
