High School Physics Department: Fruit Batteries

On the morning of March 25, students in the PBL class instructed by Ms. Zhang Wen took part in an interesting experiment: making fruit batteries. They made batteries using fruits such as lemons, oranges, and kiwis. Students measured the voltage produced by each kind of fruit and compared their magnitude. They also researched the change of voltage when the distance and depth of two plates varied. Finally, they connected several batteries in a series and illumed the LED successfully.
