SHSID was Named Best Large Delegation at HMUN China 2019

From March 21st to 24th, 11 student delegates across three grades and two senior assistant directors embarked on a unique journey to Beijing for Harvard Model United Nations China 2019. This year marks the 10-year anniversary of HMUN China. Our delegates extended their diplomacy to fellow student participants from several countries across several committees. Topics such as artificial intelligence, human genome sequencing, and the Yugoslavian Civil War were discussed, and delegates formed innovative solutions to some of the world’s most imminent problems. These delegates were also greatly rewarded for their actions, as they reaped numerous awards, including Best Delegate and Honorable Mention. As a result of these students’ diplomatic abilities, SHSID was awarded Best Large Delegation at HMUN China 2019.
