Pudong Grades 3: Let’s Celebrate the Reading Funfest!

The 5th week of this semester was “Celebrate Reading Week”. All the third graders of Pudong campus celebrated from March 18th to 22nd by participating in different fun activities. Monday was Crazy Hair/Hat Day. The students wore creative hats and fun wigs. Tuesday was the Word Parade, so students dressed up as their favorite word and went on a vocabulary scavenger hunt. Then on Wacky Socks Day, the students wore wacky socks to celebrate the book “Fox in Socks”. On Thursday, they dressed up as characters from the books they’ve read to celebrate Favorite Character Day. Last but not least, Friday was Pajama Day, so the students wore the comfy pajamas and brought their favorite stuffed animals to school. During this week, the students learned that reading is a truly fun thing to do!
