Grade 10: Making an Appropriate College List
This week, the tenth graders learned how to make an appropriate college list and get relevant information about colleges. The activity was split into two parts: lectures on college applications and a college fair.

Lectures were given in the Xianmian Annex Building. Ms. Zeng, one of the teacher advisors, provided many tips for choosing the right college for each student. She also listed many useful websites that will help the students evaluate and understand the campus they are considering much more completely. After the lecture finished, the students all had a better idea of how to construct a college list for their future. As the second part started, the students rushed eagerly to the Xianmian Annex Building to attend the college fair. The venue was bustling with students walking around the tables and having insightful conversations with the college representatives. The students selected the schools they were most interested in and meditated on their best questions to impress the colleges.

Through this series of substantial lectures and the college fair, the tenth-grade students have learned how to make a fitting college list based on their own strengths. More importantly, by querying and consulting the college application details, students have a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses and are thus inspired to further improve themselves accordingly.
