Pudong Grade 4: Celebrating Reading Week—Wonderful Word Parade

This week is reading week for SHSID Pudong campus. As usual, a variety of activities related to reading will be held during this week. Among all the exciting activities, the most anticipated one is the Word Parade on Tuesday. On the morning of March 19th, while wearing decorations related to their chosen vocab words, the fourth graders joyfully stepped into the classroom and couldn’t wait to explain their ideas and designs for their word. During the P&B class in the afternoon, a vocabulary scavenger hunt was under way on the whole campus. The kids worked with their reading buddies and introduced their words to each other, then began to search for English vocab words on other students’ and divided them into different categories. Besides being entertained, students also learned and memorized a lot of new words because of the creative and impressive displays from students and teachers.
