Pudong Grade 3: Social Studies Fair

Grade 3 students went on a trip around the world! On March 13th and 15th, students in Grade 3 at Pudong campus celebrated their learning with a Social Studies Fair. This activity was the culmination of their “All Around the World” research project.

Working in pairs, students chose a country to “visit.” As they researched their country of choice, they learned about its culture, geography, government, history, economy, as well as a few fun facts! Students compiled their research and created posters displaying what they had learned. As well as posters, many students chose to dress up in cultural clothing, bring food associated with their choice country, and play music during the fair. They couldn’t wait to display their knowledge!

Students took turns visiting each booth at the fair and asking the presenters questions. Thanks to hard work and dedicated research, presenters at the fair were well versed in the facts relating to their country of choice. It was a great opportunity to “visit” 24 different countries in two days!
