Grade 12: Dodgeball Competition

March 20, 2019

After a rainy morning, the sizzling sun came out during the afternoon and the seniors ran and fought for their classes in the heated indoor gym during the Wednesday CAS class. Today, classes played against each other in an entertaining dodgeball competition. With 5 boys and 5 girls on each team, classes 12(1), 12(6), 12(7), and 12(9) came in as the competitors in the semi-finals. After the first round of games, our reporter interviewed Justin Chow from 12(9). Justin claimed that the dodgeball competition is what he craves every year. Although they were close to the finals, his major goal this time was initially to defeat his class’ biggest competitor, class 12(5), who have won the finals the last two years. Miraculously, this time 12(9) beat 12(5) in the first round—an encouraging step for class 9. This competition is definitely a great opportunity for the classes to relax and fight as one in the midst of their daily studies. After hours of sweat and effort, class 12(6) won the championship by uniting as one and working toward the same goal.
