Two Teams Won Tickets to the NEC US Finals!

During March 16^th and 17^th, the National Economics Challenge (NEC) China Finals were held in Suzhou. More than 1200 students from more than 100 schools in China gathered there to compete for prizes. In this competition, 4 students form a team and take part in different challenges including the qualifying test, critical thinking round, and Super Econ round. The qualifying test is a written test that assesses students’ knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international economics as well as current issues. The critical thinking round requires students to provide and present solutions to an economic issue through logical analysis in their group. The Super Econ round asks students to answer certain questions under limited time, which sets high requirements on students’ quick-thinking ability. After a whole day of competition, two students were rewarded the Perfect Score Prize for the Qualifying test and two teams successfully won tickets to the US Finals, which will be held in the New York City from May 18^th to 20^th. Congratulations to them!
