High School Interdisciplinary Project: Historical Play Report I

This semester, the High School History & Geography Department and Music & Art Department are collaborating on an interdisciplinary project, a Historical Play on refugees in Shanghai during the1930s-1940s. The project launched at the beginning of the semester under the guidance of Mr. Paul Deichmann. In order to help the students who are involved in the tasks of playwriting and performing better understand the history and culture of Jewish people, IB History teacher and vice head teacher of the History Department, Mr. Christopher Hodachok and Mr. Max Slonim, who teaches IB English and comes from a Jewish family in the United States, brought wonderful lectures to the students in the black box on March 15th, 2019. The students learned a lot from their lectures.
