Pudong Grade 1: Yummy Science

How could science class be yummy? On March 13th, 2019, grade one students at SHSID Pudong campus enjoyed their science lesson by filling their stomachs happily. In order to enhance their understanding of solid, gas, and liquid states, students were given a cup of coke to observe the form of both liquid and gas. Later, students were additionally given a scoop of ice-cream to observe all of the forms of liquid, gas and solid. Students were so excited that they couldn’t wait to eat them. From this activity, students learnt scientific facts through real-world interaction.
