Pudong Grade 3: 100th Day

March 11, 2019

March 6th marked the one-hundredth day of school in the 2018-2019 school year! To commemorate 100 days of learning and growing, students in Grade 3 at Pudong wrote essays answering the prompt, “What will the world be like when I am 100 years old?”

The third graders had very interesting ideas of what the world will be like around 2110. Students had very positive outlooks on the future of our planet. Many students predicted that our lives would involve interacting with many robots. Students also hypothesized that our mode of transportation will change to flying cars or even teleportation! Some students anticipate that we will be living on another planet in 100 years.

An aged picture accompanies each students’ writing. Using a digital app, students were transformed into what they will look like when they are 100 years old. This was great fun for everyone to imagine!
