Pudong Campus: Fascinating After-school Clubs

This semester, many fascinating after-school clubs have been carried out at Pudong Campus. Compared to the clubs of last semester, there is an abundance of choices provided for students this spring. It is a great opportunity for students to choose their clubs, varying from the artistic, academic, scientific, technological, and athletic. Despite the incessant rain this March, Pudong G1-G5 students got ready with great enthusiasm to take part in our fantastic clubs. On March 5th and March 8th, 2019, the after-school clubs kicked off. Here is a brief introduction of these clubs:

Baseball Club and American Football Club are the most popular at Pudong Campus. Every Tuesday or Friday, team members have their weekly training after school. Teachers equip each player with a range of techniques and game experience. During these two clubs, Pudong students will not only develop their sport and communication skills, but also understand collective honor and team spirit.

The Adventure of Scientific Exploring Club is ideal for students who are interested in scientific research. Mechanics, optics, and material science knowledge is involved in experiments, which inspire students’ wisdom and cultivate their operational abilities.

BOSON Kit Club is aimed at programming projects. Teachers focus on the skill sets of critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving. It is also a great opportunity for students to experience fun through practical applications.

Art Attack Club welcomes our younger students. In this club, students practice their artistic skills in order to complete elaborate handicrafts and beautiful paintings. Hopefully they will be versatile and creative artists soon.

The implementation of after-school clubs will develop a vision for students, inspire their enthusiasm, and strengthen their academic abilities. We believe that in the coming days, students will take initiative in their learning. We are sure that students will become better-trained, international, and independent learners in the future.
