Pudong Grade 4: Opening Ceremony

With the arrival of the Chinese New Year, the new semester has begun. All the Grade 4 teachers and students of SHSID Pudong campus were assembled in the auditorium with the rest of the primary school at 8:50am on Feb. 20th to attend the Grand opening ceremony for the new semester. The ceremony was exhilarating and inspiring.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Ms. Liu extended heartfelt greetings to all students and teachers. She then shared an inspiring Chinese poem written by famous poet Tao Yuanming to send her sincere wishes to all the students, which received a lively response from the 4th graders. After that, Hankun, the representative of Grade 4 students from 4-1, gave his speech in order to give other students practical advice and express his outlook and objectives for the new semester. The talented speaker did a great job, which impressed everyone present! After the inspiring speeches came the climax of the event: the awards ceremony. Students stepped on the stage to win not only prizes, but also the respect of all the people in the auditorium.
