Grades 9-10: Course Day

On February 20th, the first day of the new semester, the students from grades 9 and 10 participated in “Course Day”, an event that lasted for the entire afternoon. The event was divided into two sections–-the introduction of the curriculum and particular subjects and a Q&A session. As we repeatedly emphasize, course selection in G10 and G11 is extremely important; not only for benefiting university applications, but also for developing the width and depth of personal interests.

Students understood how precious this afternoon was and cherished this opportunity. They took notes during the introduction session and many made a variety of marks next to their course selection flow chart. The students also went to consult the subject teachers according to their interests and received adequate insight.

We believe that through “Course Day”, students can make wise decisions efficiently.
