High School: Economics Department New Semester Meeting

On the morning of Feb.17th, the Economics department had a faculty meeting for the new semester. The meeting was held by Ms. Zhang Li, the head of the department. Several changes and new tasks are planned for the new semester. The department will provide more courses related to finance and investment, aiming to give students more choices in their course selection. The school has collaborated with HSBC and there will be a new academy course on investment provided this semester. A senior manager will be invited to be the lecturer in order to introduce investment knowledge to students. Additionally, there will be an interdisciplinary event held by the economics department and history department in May. Students will be required to combine their knowledge of both economics and history to research the topic of the Great Depression. The last week of March is also Economics week. The department will provide various activities for students to let them get to know more about the field of economics. These activities may include poster exhibition, external lecture, drama performance, and knowledge competition.
