High School History Department Meeting

On February 17th, 2019, all the High School History teachers met in room 102 of the Xian Mian Building to attend the department meeting. Firstly, Ms. Li Yunuo briefly introduced the regular work schedule, which includes the writing and submission of semester plans and unit plans for group leaders and the due dates for proofreading of each test during the new semester. She then highlighted some important activities and changes for this semester, including the video project for the 9-11th graders, and the cross-disciplinary projects for the 9th and 10th graders, respectively, with the department of Chemistry (Science and Technology based project) and Economics (Great Depression project). She also asked for teachers’ opinions about how to arrange the 10^th grade SATII mock test at the end of the school year. Mr. Chris Hodachok stressed the importance of the same criteria within a group in assessing the students’ homework and encouraged the teachers to communicate with each other regularly to ensure fairness and avoid unnecessary troubles.
