High School English Department Workshop(January)

On Jan. 21st, 2019, the High School English Department hosted a workshop on standardized tests, which included both language proficiency tests and academic tests. All of the English teachers were informed about the average score of SHSIDers on these tests as well as the goals of our school. With this in mind, the teachers were broken down into small groups to further discuss goals within different grades. The teachers learned more about these tests and discussed how they could help students improve their language proficiency inside and outside the classroom.
