Grade 9: Assembly – Student Representative’s Speech(January)

On Wednesday, January 9th, the weekly assembly was held. Student representative Aileen Shen from class 9(5) shared her experience in chairing the World Art group. She reflected on her personal growth as she guided the group of aspiring artists to learn from the Western Canon, including works from famous Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci. During her time as the group’s leader, she acquired a number of skills while interacting with teachers and communicating with her fellow group members. From this experience, she gleaned the importance of time management and responsibility, while also coming to further understand the importance of communication.
