First Graders’ Kindness Wallet

Kindness is something every teacher tries to foster and encourage among his or her students. On January 7th, during our personal growth class, all of the first graders at SHSID talked about how a person can show kindness to those around them and how this affects the world in a positive way. Every student made a “Kindness Wallet” to ensure that everybody understands how to treat others with kindness.

The students discussed how they could be kind to others, giving many examples of when and how they could achieve this. Some students also talked about their own experiences in being kind to others or feeling kindness from others.

Hopefully, every first grader at SHSID will be a kind and considerate child and in turn will experience kindness from all of the people in their lives.
