Primary School Subjects Department: Primary School Sci Fair

On the 2nd and 3rd of January, we celebrated the SHSID Annual Science Fair in the primary department. 99 students from grade 1,2,3 and 4 participated by bringing a Science project to school that represented an experiment they had designed.

All the experiments were displayed in the primary cafeteria. We were very lucky to have parent volunteers who acted as judges. Each student was asked various questions about their project and the scientific method they used. The general appearance of their poster was also taken into account. Not only did the participating students get to enjoy the Science Fair, but, all the students in the primary department visited the cafeteria and were given time to look at the projects.

It was a fantastic event with projects and experiments that were a great example of the high level of Science the students are surrounded by both at school and at home.

Thank you to all the participating students and parents! If you didn’t get to take part this year, don’t worry you can have a chance next year! We look forward to seeing your projects!
