SHSID Primary Section’s Science Fair

Every year the Science Fair is always a popular event with our students. For their presentations, the students follow the scientific method to do an experiment. Then, they create a poster or a show board with pictures of their experiment. All the steps of the scientific method are followed and shown, such as making a hypothesis, gathering information, analyzing the test results and presenting a conclusion.

During the afternoon of January 3^rd, all the first and second graders visited the Science Fair and many of our little scientists showed all of their teachers, classmates, and parent representatives their creative science experiments following the scientific method. Some students even brought their experiment materials to the fair and encouraged the visitors try out their experiment with their own hands.

That is definitely a successful event with every student learning a lot more than science. They learned to follow the scientific method and to look at the world through a scientist’s eyes.
