Grade 11:Junior Assembly

January 2, 2019

On December 13th, Justin Huang from 11(9) delivered a brief introduction on his group project with Eric Fan and Tiffany Li in “SHS Cup” during the weekly assembly in the XMT Auditorium. The project, Monere, is a calendar that serves as a reminder for those who constantly forget their things at home. By utilizing iBeacon, a cutting-edge technology that is essentially a Bluetooth signal station aided by an algorithm, Monere can detect and remind people what belongings they need to bring. In addition, Justin’s team sees great prospects for the future development of Monere, which include machine learning, additional packages, and RFID improvements. This science and technology centered lecture once again marks students’ efforts and their experience in improving their innovative spirit and practical ability.
