G8: Dodgeball Competition

On December 27^th, a dodgeball competition was held during CAS class for the 8^th graders.

After the bell rang, students started to gather in the basketball court; everyone was talking about the competition. The main objective of dodgeball is to eliminate all members of the opposing team by hitting them with dodgeballs or by catching a ball thrown by the opponent. Players must dodge the balls that the opponent throws in order to remain in the game. The team who manages to eliminate all of their opponents first is the winner.

When all of the students were gathered at the court, every class prepared themselves for the dodgeball competition. As the whistle was blown, students rushed to the center line to snatch the ball. Students who were not participating were cheering as loudly as they could. The whole basketball court was filled with happiness. As the match came to an end, the judges declared a winner of each game. No matter which team won, everyone had smiles on their faces and were cheering and hugging. Despite the results, the teams knew they had tried their best and collaborated as a group.

As classes were eliminated, the final rounds approached. The crowd and their cheers grew. Finally, the dodgeball champions were class 8(7), followed by class 8(4), and class 8(3). This dodgeball competition was an exciting and memorable experience for the 8^th graders.
