Puxi Grade 4: Christmas Activities
To celebrate the upcoming Christmas holiday, teachers in grade 4 not only decorated their classrooms with the students, but also organized fun activities.
All of the fourth-grade classrooms had a special guest from the North Pole: a magical elf. Though sometimes the elves were very naughty. Sometimes they stole stickers from the classroom, sometimes they left half of a banana on the teacher’s desk, and sometimes they spread candy everywhere. When kids were well behaved, the elves would bring them lovely gifts and write cards to them. However, if the elves were touched, they would sadly lose their magic and disappear. The kids were very fond of hunting for the elves each day and reading the letters left by them.
In addition, the fourth-grade teachers also guided their students to make a plan called “12 days of Christmas Kindness”. The list was written on colorful Santa paper and was filled with kind deeds the students needed to do. For example, completing a chore at home without being asked, telling a joke to make someone smile, sharing something with a friend, etc. If they did something kind, they could color parts of the Santa in. This activity combined the Christmas celebration with the cultivation of core values. We hope our students will be more kind and responsible after participating in these fun activities!
