G9-G12 Celebration

On December 21st, 2018, SHSID welcomed its 25th anniversary. To commemorate this momentous day, students devoted extensive efforts and countless creative ideas into decorating the Xianmian Building. Stepping into the lobby, you will be greeted with vibrantly colored balloons arranged as the number “25”. Behind the balloons, “Merry Christmas” and “Happy 25th Anniversary” spread across a large poster on the billboard, on which all students can write their wishes. By the two sides of the lobby, display boards were erected to exhibit photographs shot by students with professional skills and care. These photographs are divided under two subtopics: the beautiful campus and the transformation of Shanghai.

In Xianmian Building Annex, besides an art exhibition dedicated by four seniors, the highlight of the scene stands as a product of our affection for the school: a huge “25” assembled by palm-size ocean balls hand-painted by teachers and students. As joyous music and delicate decorations filled every corner of the building, with the 25th anniversary red scarf around their necks, everyone’s heart is filled with fondness.

G9 and G10 students gave their blessings to SHSID. In this special day, everyone wore their spirit with red scarves, to reinforce their strong spirit on a cold winter’s day. Students designed birthday cakes, posters, and decorated every corner of the classrooms in the spirit of SHSID’s special day. Now that we are equipped with a global vision and ambitious goals, we hope to seize the chance of the 25th anniversary to express our deep gratefulness and genuine proudness as a member of SHSID, and our sincere hope for a brighter future for the school and students alike.
