Pudong Grade 5: A Lecture on Growing Up and Puberty

During the P&B class on Dec. 18th the 5th Graders at the Pudong campus attended a lecture on puberty education. With boys and girls sitting in different classrooms, teachers introduced the physical and emotional changes which take place during adolescence. The lecture was divided into 3 parts, including portions on “What is puberty’, “The changes brought about by puberty”, and “How to cope with the changes”. Students got to learn how to deal with themselves and others during this stage of growth. At the end of the lecture, students wrote down some of their concerns and questions about puberty, and the answers to them are expected to be given at the next puberty lecture.
