Grade 11: Volunteer Activities of Xuhui District Library

Although it was a cold winter day, the 11th grade students went to Xuhui District Library on Sunday morning to begin their volunteer work. When the students arrived at the third floor of the library, they completed their volunteer registration and carried out their work in an orderly manner under the leadership of the librarian, Mr. Chen.

Students were responsible for sorting and putting books on shelves in the borrowing area as well as maintaining the order of the reading area. The seemingly simple placement of books is not as easy as you imagine, but requires perseverance and patience from beginning to end. The half-day volunteer service also gives students more opportunities to access books and expand their knowledge. Volunteer work requires earnestness and perseverance. Every Sunday in the future, volunteer students will come to Xuhui District Library to provide assistance. Through this platform, more students will develop the spirit of a volunteer, serve others, and enrich themselves.
