SHSID Has Signed an Agreement with East China University of Science and Technology

On December 12, 2018, the agreement Signing Ceremony for the “Innovation and Practice Ability Training Cooperation Project” between SHSID and East China University of Science and Technology (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center) was held in the conference room on the second floor of the Xianmian Building.

Principal Ma Feng and STEM coordinators Liao Hui and Chen Lin met with Mr. Si and Ms. Li from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center of ECUST. Hosted by Mr. Zhao, the agreement signing ceremony was successfully completed.

The cooperation project aims to enhance the basic knowledge and skills of high school students in relevant subjects and their related methods, increase their experience in exploring the subject, strengthen their innovation and practical abilities, help them in the major areas and uncover unlimited potential for science and technology innovation contests and essay writing. In future collaborative projects, SHSIID students will have more opportunities to participate in research programs at the East China University of Science and Technology in various disciplines. Students will undertake all or part of the research work and collect project data, consult literature, and complete project reports. Teachers and professors from ECUST will guide and supervise the students' safety and research process in conducting their experiment, and come to our school regularly to give academic lectures on relevant research.

After the signing ceremony, Principal Ma and Mr. Si discussed further cooperation between the two schools. In the near future, we will be able to cooperate in different aspects and continue to promote the work of both schools. Students are expected to participate in this project and communicate with the professors, utilize these advantages as international students, and strengthen their own research capabilities.
