Puxi Grade 2: Students Enjoyed Reading and Tried to be the Best Teller

December 7, 2018

Over the course of the last month, Puxi second graders enjoyed reading Chinese books in the “Chinese Fairy Tales Reading Month” activity. During the Chinese class on November 30th, the fully prepared students brought fantastic stories to share with their classmates and teachers.

Our little storytellers led their audience through a wonderful fairy tale land. In this fairy tale world, there was a warm-hearted black cat, generous Mr. Frog, Mr. No Minds and Mr. Unhappy. Many hilarious and admirable protagonists emerged from students’ tales, becoming vivid and unforgettable. In our hearts, every child was a confident, “great storyteller”!

During the December 4th Chinese class, each second-grade class chose their best storyteller. The teachers also set several awards for those who showed lots of effort.

In the read aloud classes to follow, the “best story tellers” will tell stories in each class to bring their story to more students.
