High School English Department Workshop

Professor Zou, SHSID Teaching Supervisor and professor of the ECNU English Department, has been observing English classes for the past two months. We invited him to organize a teacher workshop to present his feedback and lead a discussion focusing on Standard level teaching in order to share his knowledge in the field of English teaching and linguistics.

Professor Zou asked teachers to pre-read a 40-page article on Second Language Teaching Methodology and presented his observations from class, test papers, and student performance. Then, he threw questions among audience and invited teachers to share their best practice in classroom teaching. The workshop lasted for one hour and teachers eagerly shared their questions, concerns, and experience.
