Grades 11-12:Thanksgiving Day Celebration

November 26, 2018

Thanksgiving, which we express gratitudes to people we love, is a holiday celebrated worldwide. In SHSID, students sent cards and chocolates to their teachers and friends. SHSID ASB members sold turkey lunch, popcorn sales, screaming chicken and held activities such as slime making, wood log drawing, movie watching to enliven the atmosphere in this special holiday.

More importantly, spicy noodle challenge was held in front of the Xianmian Building. This newly interesting competition attracted both teachers and students to participate. At that day, the entire Xianmian building is intricately decorated with lights to reflect the warm and loving mood of the festival. This international holiday offered a great opportunity for SHSID students to express gratitude to their peers and beloved teachers. In such a compassionate atmosphere, students got to consider everyone in their lives who has offered a helping hand and were able to express their gratitude for Thanksgiving.
