Grade 11: Symposium

November 26, 2018

On Thursday (11/22), the 11th grade held a symposium on the “Cancelation of the centralized monthly exam during the second semester of grade 11”. Similar symposiums that focus on listening to parent and student opinions are regularly held every semester. Participants included high school director Liu Qin, 11th grade head Gu Ying, as well as 11th grade student and parent representatives. Director Liu Qin introduced the preliminary plan for canceling the centralized monthly examination in the second semester for the 11th grade to parents and student representatives and announced the results of the questionnaire survey for all 11th grade students taken earlier. More than 60% of the students agreed to cancel, while around 30% students did not agree to cancel. After that, the student and parent representatives expressed their opinions on behalf of each class. The goal of this symposium was not to vote, but to focus on discussion and sharing. Director Liu Qin and Ms. Gu Ying listened carefully to the opinions of the students and parents. After the symposium, the school will further discuss the plan based on the results of the questionnaire and today's discussion, in order to develop the most favorable plan for the 11th grade students.
