Puxi Grade 4: Story Mom

During the P&B class on November 22nd, the Story Moms came to our classrooms with a touching story, which is based on a true story. After the Second World War, European countries suffered from the shortage of necessities. An American girl named Rossi sent goods to a Dutch girl and they got to know each other through their letters. As they got closer, Rossi collected more and more clothes and food to help her friend. When spring came, her friend sent many tulip seeds to her in return. Nowadays, we can still see plenty of beautiful tulips in American towns.

The fourth graders were deeply touched by this story and were more aware of the meaning of spreading love.
