Puxi Grade 1: Thanksgiving Celebration

November 22 is Thanksgiving, which is an important American festival. All the first graders at SHSID celebrated their first Thanksgiving at school by making turkey crafts and Thanksgiving hats. The students wrote about how they were thankful for their families, teachers, and friends. They will give their handcrafts to the people they love as a Thanksgiving gift.

Thanksgiving Day is a day about being thankful for the people we love, who make our lives full of happiness. Hopefully, our students will reflect on all of the things in their lives that they should be thankful for.
