Pudong Grade 1: DEAR Reading

Our dear students at SHSID—Pudong Campus are getting prepared, both physically and mentally, to welcome DEAR week. DEAR week is a certain period of time when students are encouraged to read whenever possible. During this time period, students should “Drop Everything And Read” when the bell rings, even if it is during a lesson time or snack time. Students felt extremely excited when the regular lesson has been interrupted and all they have to do is read. By launching this activity, we hope that students could consciously increase their reading time as well as their reading load.
