Pudong Grade 4: First Aid Lecture

During the afternoon CAS class on November 15, 2018, the 4th and 5th graders assembled in the auditorium for a precious lesson on first aid. Ms. Liu from the Red Cross Society of Pudong New Area was invited to Pudong campus to give the students a lecture about basic first aid. During the lecture, Ms. Liu, who has 30 years of clinical experience, not only invited students to perform different first aid skills, but also showed the process of CPR and how to operate AED. Through listening to Ms. Liu’s detailed explanation and participating actively, G4 students studied first aid skills for emergencies like drowning, burning, electric shock, FBAO and so on. After listening to the brilliant speech, each student got a first aid kit from the Red Cross Society. We believe the students will protect themselves and help others better utilize the practical skills they learned today.
