Pudong Grade 1: The Book Fair; The Book Ocean

With the advent of reading month, students at SHSID—Pudong Campus are encouraged to take every opportunity to read. As a consequence, grade one students are invited to attend the book fair to purchase more books that are suitable for them. On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, students were taken by their homeroom teachers to the conference room—where the book fair is held—to browse and purchase books. The students were so delighted by the selection that some even cried at the thought of not bringing enough money for all of them. With mountains of books in their arms, the students all smiled happily and couldn't wait to get reading.
