Pudong Grade 1: Pinyin Hat

In week 6 and week 7, grade one students at SHSID Pudong campus worked on a cute craft to represent their knowledge of Chinese Pinyin. The craft is called Pinyin Mao, a hat full of pinyin characters as well as illustrations. Students had to recognize different intonations of the Pinyin allotted to them and put them into different phrases. After they successfully came up with the phrases, they were free to color or draw any pictures that related to this word. While students were having fun making their crafts, they gained a more solid foundation of Pinyin.
