High School: Pop-up Coffee Shop is Coming
High School: Pop-up Coffee Shop is Coming
In case you didn’t catch the news, there was a pop-up coffee shop hosted by the VFA Club on October. 16th and 17th! VFA Club is closely linked to the Columbia Business School, helping and cultivating members interested in entrepreneurship and business. The main purpose of this project was to give students practical experience and knowledge on how a real business is operated. It also aimed to provide convenience for students and faculty, as well as add a smile to their faces. Weeks before the official event, they carefully planned the different roles of the members, such as coffee makers, promoters, coordinators, etc. They also worked with amazing teachers, such as Ms. Zhang Li, to improve their efficiency, as well as find equipment and materials. During the two days, everyone worked together during lunchtime, performing their roles well. This ensured a smooth cycle that produced coffee fast and maximized efficiency.
Because of this excellent organization and innovation, there was a great turnout. Throughout lunchtime, the flow of customers never ended. You could imagine the busy and lively scene. Consequently, lots of teachers and students praised the creativity of this project, saying they would definitely support further events and purchase more coffee. Of course, there were many who complimented the taste of the hand brewed coffee as well.
