High School English Department Working on Students’ Evaluation Rubrics

On the afternoon of Oct. 19th, all high school teachers attended an assembly on how to use the students’ evaluation system. More than 20 high school English teachers came together to form a general consesus on the philosophy of the new evaluation system, and discussed the set rubrics. After a fruitful debate, they proposed a variety of suggestions. Later, they timed their sample evaluations of the assigned students and provided written feedback for the department. After more opinions are collected, the rubrics will be further improved.
