High School Chinese Department：PD Workshop

On the morning of October 19th, all high school Chinese teachers participated in the PD workshop in 302 Xianmian Building.

The workshop was held by Mr. Zhuang, the head teacher of the Chinese cour PD workshop se. The topic of the workshop was method to improve students’ oral and written Chinese skills.

All teachers shared what they have done before to help students speak and write more proficiently in class.

One teacher said she was very moved that one student could clearly feel the different writing styles among Lu Xun, Zhang Ailing, and Lao She, and she thought it was because the students read enough articles that they could distinguish the difference.

Another teacher said she let students make stories, using the words they learned in the lesson.

The atmosphere was enthusiastic, and all teachers learned a lot from each other.
