Pudong Grade 3: Sports Meet is Really Fun!

On Wednesday, October 17th, the Sports Meet finally began! After all the trials during the sports week, the 3rd graders at Pudong campus have been saving enough energy to release on the day of the Sports Meet.

This year, Grade 3 students had to help in Sports Meet preparations. This is the first time for 3rd graders to take their chairs out for the parents, but no one complained about it, because they know that they have grown up, and need to take more responsibilities this year. After the preparation, students marched onto the dance field, and showed their marvelous fitness dance to all the teachers and parents!

Next, students started their competitions with a “bang” in the 30-meter dash. All the students were cheering for the athletes, and showing their support. Then they had the kangaroo jump (sack race), long jump, three-legged race, dribbling competition, and basketball toss. Some parents took part in the game and enjoyed the time playing with their kids. They said that all the memories were so precious.

Last but not least, the breathtaking relay race came! All the athletes tried their best to win the game. Although it’s impossible for everyone to be the winner, they truly enjoyed the moment when all their classmates cheered for them. Moreover, they felt a sense of belonging when they heard the enthusiastic cheers made up by their teachers and classmates.

The Sports Meet ended with an exhilarating atmosphere. All the 3rd graders became the winners when they made their great efforts and learned sportsmanship. The day was made even sweeter when everyone earned a celebratory ice-cream cone at the end of the day.
